After 18 years in software, including leading engineering teams at Hinge Health which recently IPO'd, Eric got tired of drowning in contract reviews for vendor negotiations. Every vendor contract and partnership felt like it required a law degree just to understand what he was signing.

Eric built Resplain to solve his own problem: making contract review and negotiation accessible for people who'd rather focus on building than decoding legal jargon. What started as a personal productivity hack became something he realized every freelancer, consultant and business owner needed.
